Those who have no emotional involvement in issue are more likely to examine the issues rationally and make decisions on the basis of a logical examination of the facts. The success of such a strategy can be seen in the Gallup abortion poll of 2009. In this poll, opinions have shifted such that 51% of respondents now say they are prolife, compared with 42% who say they are prochoice. |
