Many of these arguments involve dubious "benefits" from abortion often using unquoted or exaggerated statistics. The primary question to be answered is "Is the fetus a person?" or "When does human personhood begin?" If the fetus is a person or becomes a person at some point in gestation, then it is automatically afforded rights under the United States Constitution, including the right to life. |
