I Can't See the Content on the Page

Evidence for God from Science website uses cascading style sheets to format the pages. Some old browsers do not handle this information well, which results in viewing problems - mostly the inability to see the content because of the navigation links on either side of the page. All versions of Internet Explorer before version 7.0 have some problems properly displaying the design at godandscience.org (i.e., it isn't our fault). If you are having problems viewing the pages, try these possible solutions:

Check the text size in Internet Explorer 6. If it is set at "largest", the left navigation will overlap the content. Both "larger" and "medium" should work okay (from the "View" menu).
Make sure the Internet Explorer window is maximum size.
Increase the resolution setting for your display (and maximize your browser window). The site works better at 800x600 or 1024x768. Some pages will not work well at 640x480.
Restart your computer. Sometimes computers get weird and restarting them makes everything work better.
Use the "Print Preview" function (under the "File" menu) and set the magnification at 100% or higher. Click "Close" to return to the page with navigation enabled. You can also print the page to your printer. The print function uses a different style sheet, which has no navigation menus on the sides.

I have been told by a few people that the site doesn't work well on a small number of specific computers. The reason is unknown. If you are still having problems, please contact the webmaster and indicate which pages are specifically bad. Nearly all the viewing problems occur with Internet Explorer versions 6 and below. Upgrading to the version 8 or 9 of Internet Explorer or switching to Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome will eliminate most, if not all, these viewing problems on this and other sites. Since less than 1% of our visitors use old browsers we aren't going to change our site design.
