File Transfer Protocol (FTP) clients allow you to upload your pages onto your web server. If you buy one of the top HTML editors, FTP uploading is usually included as part of the program. Even so, FTP clients are useful for uploading and downloading files from FTP servers. Most of the commercial programs are quite easy to use, and allow you to drag and drop files as you would from any Windows folder and have modest costs (less than $50). However, the free versions are quite adequate, and mostly, easy to use.
