Early Successes – Adult Stem Cells

      • Human mesenchymal stem cells turned on Functional and physical units of heredity passed from parent to offspring. Genes are pieces of DNA, and most genes contain the information for making a specific protein.genes found in bone, cartilage, adipose, muscle, hematopoiesis-supporting stromal, endothelial, and neuronal cells.
      • Multipotent adult progenitor cells have been shown to differentiate into functional, hepatocyte-like cells.

Adult stem cells have shown great promise in many published studies. These cells have shown the potential to form many different kinds of cell types and tissues, including functional hepatocyte-like (liver) cells. Such cells might be useful in repairing organs ravaged by diseases.
