The Bible prohibits the killing of human
beings because they are created in the image of God.1 In
order to be considered murder, the killing must be both premeditated and
intentional. Since embryonic stem cell research results in the
premeditated, intentional killing of a human being, Christian theology would consider
it to be murder. References
