Greetings in the name of the Lord! This is the latest edition of the update for the Evidence for God from Science website. It has been a great last two months for scientific support for the Bible. We have also had a great political victory in March, as voters in the liberal state of California have voted to define marriage as only between one man and one woman. Thanks for your prayers!
RTB Creation Conference
Reasons To Believe will be holding a creation conference, June 22-24, 2000 in Southern California. The conference will feature many prominent creationists who will be presenting their version of a testable creation model. I will be presenting information on how to create an apologetics website. Evolution/Creation
The big news this month is in evolution. More evidence continues to accumulate against theories that propose a naturalistic origin of life. In fact, The Origin-of-Life Foundation, Inc.(r) has offered over $1 million for the first person to propose a realistic origin of life scenario. According to the sponsor, "To win, the explanation must correspond to empirical biochemical and thermodynamic reality, and be published in a well-respected, peer-reviewed science journal(s)." Apologetics
A new page has been added in the apologetics section. I received an e-mail from a non-believer whose main hang-up with Christianity is the perception that it is anti-environmental. In fact, the Bible clearly commands humans to take care of the earth. The paper proposes the following arguments for a responsible ethic toward the earth and the animals and plants on it:
God's involvement and pleasure in the earth and its creatures
The earth and everything in it belong to the Lord, not humans
God cares for and provides for the needs of His creatures
God gave humans dominion over the earth to care for it
God will judge those who destroy the earth

God's Love for Us
The slideshows have been recently updated. The main slideshow ("From the Beginning to Man: How God Demonstrates His Love for Us") has been shortened so as to not lose the audience before the main points are made. The "Resources" page has been updated, with links to new versions of the popular browsers, Netscape Communicator 4.72 (Windows and Mac) and Internet Explorer 5.01 (Windows), and Internet Explorer 5.0 (Macintosh) having been released. Also added is a link to the newly released freeware compression utility, Power Archiver, that has even more features than WinZip - the shareware "standard" in Windows compression. GodAndScience.org is now offering a free Genesis screen saver (a visual interpretation of Genesis 1:1-1:3). The Trinity in the Old Testament
Orthodox Jews and many cults do not like the idea of the Trinity, complaining

scientific data. It is a much-requested (by evolutionists) creationary
model. One of the most common complaints from evolutionists is that we
